2007 AAPA SEAPORTS Magazine Series

AAPA SEAPORTS MAGAZINE is the official tri-annual 'outreach' magazine of the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) and editorial component of the quarterly AAPA SEAPORTS publication series. 2007 editions will be published in June, September and December, and are complemented by the March publication of AAPA's comprehensive annual port industry reference guide, SEAPORTS OF THE AMERICAS - The AAPA DIRECTORY. The AAPA SEAPORTS series authoritatively covers the issues, news and data affecting the ports and port industry of the western hemisphere.

AAPA SEAPORTS MAGAZINE is distributed both in print and online. 4000 copies of the print version are printed and distributed as follows:
  • AAPA MEMBERSHIP DISTRIBUTION:
    CORPORATE MEMBERS (Port Authorities): In 2007, approximately 1400 copies of each issue are individually polybagged and mailed directly to the port directors and key port staff members AAPA Corporate membership, which consists of virtually every port authority of economic significance throughout the western hemisphere. AAPA Corporate Members in the U.S. & Canada receive from 4 to 20 copies each in this manner; AAPA Corporate Member port directors and key staff members in Latin America and the Caribbean receive 4 copies each in the same manner on an individually mailed basis;
    SUSTAINING MEMBERS (port industry companies): Each is mailed at least one copy, with over 400 copies of each issue mailed directly to these members, consisting of virtually every major port industry equipment manufacturer and port-related services provider in the western hemisphere;

  • INDUSTRY PROMOTIONAL DISTRIBUTION: Approximately 1500 copies of each issue are promotionally distributed each year to qualified recipients and exhibitors at various trade shows, conferences and industry events, including JOC BREAKBULK, TOC EUROPE, TOC AMERICAS, AAPA ANNUAL CONVENTION & EXHIBITION, CHINA TRADE & LOGISTICS CONFERENCE, TRANS-PACIFIC MARITIME CONFERENCE, TRANSATLANTIC MARITIME CONFERENCE, U.S. MARITIME SECURITY EXPO in New York, IANA INTERMODAL EXPO, SEATRADE CRUISE SHIPPING CONVENTION in Miami and several others;

  • DIRECT MAIL SUBSCRIPTION DISTRIBUTION: 300 copies of each issue are directly mailed to our comp list of top world ports, maritime executives and key industry subscribers, consisting of major port authorities around the world, major shipping and cruise line executives, and other port-related services companies who may be prospective AAPA members and/or advertisers.

  • LEGISLATIVE: Approximately 300 copies of each issue are directly distributed by AAPA to legislators and other governmental/port industry interests in the US, Canada, Latin America & Caribbean.

  • AT-LARGE SUBSCRIPTIONS: The print version of the publication may be subscribed to by interested parties via www.seaportsoftheamericas.com & www.aapaseaports.com

  • ONLINE VERSION: A complete, online version of each issue is freely available at www.aapaseaports.com immediately after print publication date, which dramatically expands the reach and distribution of the publication throughout the world. All ads are included in the online version, exactly as in the print version, and are linked directly to advertiser's website.
