The port\u2019s general manager, Gonzalo Davagnino, shared some insight on the events and the port in\u00a0an interview with AAPA.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0* By Tom Hranac * <\/em><\/p>\n<p>This year marks the first time AAPA will be holding its Annual Convention and Latin American Congress of Ports in the same location, concurrently. Being held October 7-10 in Valpara\u00edso, Chile, this is also the first time the convention has been held in South America. \u201cWe hope that this is a great and unique opportunity for all the participants to get to know the Chilean port system, network with colleagues around the continent, and generate new business with our country\u2019s ports,\u201d said Gonzalo Davagnino, general manager at the Port of Valpara\u00edso.
