Over three days, AAPA hosted more than 60 exhibitors, 650 attendees, and 71 ports from the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America.<br><br>During the annual convention, AAPA\u2019s\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aapa-ports.org\/about\/content.aspx?ItemNumber=21249\" target=\"_blank\">Board of Directors<\/a>\u00a0selected Paul Matthews, CEO of the Port of South Louisiana, as a new at-large member for a two-year term of service in addition to the re-election of the rest of the board.\u00a0AAPA also honored its\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aapa-ports.org\/unifying\/content.aspx?ItemNumber=22956\" target=\"_blank\">2023 Lighthouse Awards recipients<\/a>, acknowledging 27\u00a0ports for their inspiring projects across four disciplines.\u00a0In addition, 12 individuals graduated from the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aapa-ports.org\/port-professional-manager\" target=\"_blank\">Port Professional Manager (PPM) Program<\/a>. The PPM program is a comprehensive port and supply chain education curriculum that has certified more than 100 professionals since 1995.<br><br>Thank you to the many speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees for supporting this year&#8217;s convention and making it a huge success.
