AAPA’s Annual Convention and Expo, Together Apart, has gone virtual and is the next best thing to being there. The seaport industry’s premier event runs September 21-23 and will feature keynote speakers and subject matter experts focusing on topics ranging from international trade and tourism, to import tariff challenges and the U.S. elections in November. Keynote presenters include Axios Co-Founder and Executive Editor Mike Allen, Global Business Alliance President and CEO Nancy McLernon, Associated Luxury Hotels International President and CEO Michael Dominguez, and Volvo Trucks North America President Peter Voorhoeve.
The Annual Convention and Expo will also feature networking events and a special awards segment to honor winners in AAPA’s 2020 port industry awards competitions and present its annual Port Person of the Year award to Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works Rickey “R.D.” James.
