The Port of Brownsville ranks third among U.S. ports for “strong financial resilience” surveyed in a new report issued by Moody’s Investor Services, underscoring the ongoing value of the port’s prudent financial stewardship in light of economic impacts from the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) thanked Ed Miller, a driver operator at the Georgia Ports Authority’s Garden City Terminal for nearly 15 years, along with the hundreds of other GPA employees whose work during the COVID-19 pandemic is helping to keep critical supplies moving. The Port of Los Angeles and Logistics Victory Los Angeles (LoVLA) have received a donation of more than 11,000 pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE) from Harbor Freight Tools, a long-time customer at the Port of Los Angeles. The equipment will be distributed by LoVLA to various health and medical facilities throughout the City in the fight against COVID-19.
