Belledune Port Authority and New Brunswick Government Showcase Green Energy Leadership at World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam
The Belledune Port Authority, alongside the Province of New Brunswick and the Government of Canada, is actively promoting Belledune’s Green Energy Hub and clean hydrogen project at the World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam. This collaborative effort involves highlighting New Brunswick as a prime destination for clean energy to international delegates, emphasizing opportunities for trade and investment. The initiative aims to decarbonize industry, meet Europe’s energy needs, and bring prosperity to northern New Brunswick. Additionally, discussions with the Ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp-Bruges aim to explore potential collaborations, while private developer Cross River Infrastructure Partners plans a multi-billion dollar hydrogen facility in Belledune, set to commence operations within the next five years.
