AAPA Seaports
The Port of Beaumont was awarded $533,913 in federal funding by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Port Security Grant Program (PSGP). The grant will fund a portion of three major security projects that will upgrade the port’s video surveillance capabilities and cybersecurity program. The Port of Hueneme has been awarded $1.68 million in the Port Security Grant Program FY 2020 funding cycle that will aid the port in modernizing their security, including improvements to the main gate entrance and upgrading the port’s CCTV surveillance system.
