Secretary Buttigieg to Deliver Remarks at Legislative Summit: Now, We Build!

U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg will deliver remarks on Tuesday, March 29, at the AAPA Legislative Summit: Now, We Build! in Washington, D.C., at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center, March 29-31, 2022. Secretary Buttigieg is the 19th Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation. He is the former mayor of South Bend, Ind., author of Shortest Way Home and Trust: America’s Best Chance, a graduate of Harvard, Rhodes Scholar, U.S. Navy Reserve officer and was deployed to Afghanistan. Secretary Buttigieg is a strong proponent of federal investment in America’s ports given his work on the infrastructure bill. Known as a genuine, kindhearted and passionate leader, his ability to work across the aisle has made a positive impact on his community and country.
