The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Hydrographic Services Review Panel (HSRP) Federal Advisory Committee will hold a virtual public meeting, March 9-10, 2022, on issues relevant to NOAA’s navigation, observations and positioning services and suggestions for improvements. Meeting information is posted here, and anyone interested in participating can register here.
NOAA is also seeking nominations for members to serve on the Hydrographic Services Review Panel. The call for nominations is to fill five member slots for a 4-year term. Nominations are due by April 15, 2022. The panel advises NOAA on operations and research issues related to navigation, hydrographic surveying, nautical charts, tides and currents, geodetic and geospatial data and measurements, Arctic priorities and coastal data and resilience.
