We wish to alert our members to recent unauthorized activities misusing AAPA’s name and brand. Please remain alert and use cyber hygiene to avoid suspicious links, suspicious communications, etc.

These unauthorized communications are exploiting the brand in various ways, such as offering to sell supposed AAPA member lists, pretending to send documents from AAPA, or sharing links from AAPA. These solicitations are fraudulent and do not originate from AAPA or any of our partners.

As a trade association based in Washington, DC, AAPA recognizes its position as a high-value target for such activities. Please be assured, AAPA does not sell member information. We uphold strict privacy policies and have rigorous data protection measures in place. In light of these fraudulent attempts, we regularly work with our security partners and confirm the security and integrity of our systems.
