Get Ready to Shine! Lighthouse Awards Now Open

AAPA’s Lighthouse Award application is now open, with submissions due by June 12. The Port Awards include nine specialty areas recognizing a wide range of port activities — with separate categories for both large and small ports. 

New this year, the Beacon of Excellence Award will recognize one port submission that demonstrates exceptional impact, innovation, and results across multiple award categories. The application process has also been simplified with a streamlined format and clearer scoring criteria.  Ports may submit a program or project in up to two categories per entry.

The program also includes the Maritime Innovator of the Year Award, recognizing AAPA Industry Solution Provider (ISP) Member industry partners advancing solutions for the port and maritime sector.
Finalists will be announced in August, and winners will be celebrated at the 115th AAPA Annual Convention in New Orleans.
