Nominate a Student for the NEW Seaports of the Americas Scholarship Program!

The Foundation for the Seaports of the Americas is excited to launch a new scholarship program in 2026, giving assistance to students pursuing careers in the ports and maritime industry. This scholarship represents a key step in the Foundation’s mission to support future workforce needs.

The scholarship will award $5,000 for every $50,000 in minimum Foundation balance, with the first award cycle opening later this year. Applications will open in May, and the scholarship will be awarded in August. The Foundation’s current balance is $95,000 — just $5,000 away from supporting a second scholarship! Join other ports in sustaining and expanding the mission of the Foundation for Seaports of the Americas by donating now.
